How a Hong Kong company is deregistered.

Deregistration closes a solvent company that has stopped trading, with no liabilities, where all members agree.

Hong Kong timings and fees come from the registry and tax office rules, and the waiting periods apply however the company is closed.

Each country closes companies its own way.

Entiva follows each registry's route and calendar to the end.

United Kingdom

Entiva files the strike-off application and follows each Gazette notice to dissolution.

Singapore

Entiva files the strike-off application itself, so directors need no Singpass endorsement.

Cayman Islands

A struck-off company is dissolved on the next quarterly strike date, so Entiva files before the Registry cut-off.

British Virgin Islands

A solvent liquidation needs a qualified local liquidator, and the appointment is void unless filed in time.

United States

Taxes and annual reports are brought up to date before the certificate of dissolution is filed.
